"New DK Flow rider Nick Summerlot, checking in!"
"Sending you the first of what I hope to be many updates this year. Just about 2 months ago I moved to the Indianapolis area with my friend Darcy. Which is pretty awesome because he rides too. Due to this awesome early spring weather we have been having I have been riding so much recently and have no plans of slowing down. There is a Local park about 30 minutes away and there are always people to ride with. I also befriended some little riders/scooter kids a few weeks ago. They were psyched! ...Read More
DK wanted to give a quick shout-out to Kansas native Kevin Mathias. At 45 he's been racing for 12 years, and he's inspiring his 2 kids to race as well. Thanks for representing the sport and our brand! The black and blue Sentry looks awesome, even on trash day!
We wanted to thank Justin Frazier from Wichita, Kansas for sending us this great video! He's got a bike check coming soon as well. Love the green walls!
Check out his YouTube page HERE
We'd love to see more of these and more bike checks from riders. Please send them to admin@dkbicycles.com, and maybe we'll see you online.

My name is Chance Fannin, I am eleven years old. I am a huge fan of DK. I think DK bikes have the best ride of all the bikes I have been on, I currently own two and love them both. I ride the DK Expert when I race (indoor at the moment). I also have a Havoc which was my first DK bike. After riding my cousins DK I did not want to ride anything else.

Saturday November the 13th marked the date for Ohio’s First Beard and Mustache Competition held at Polen Farm in Kettering, Ohio. This event was put on by The Gem City Gentlemen of the Gilded Beard and was a charity event to help raise money for the Stillwater Center. The whiskers that were in attendance at this event were phenomenal, from mustaches with multi layered curls to split beards that grow past the knees. The turn out for this event was amazing and it was all for a good cause, and a few bearded bicycle riders from around the area were able to compete and even walk away with a few wins. Justin Kellermeier (pictured left) from K and G Bike Center of Kettering swept the Styled Beard Competition with help from his wife Karen who shaped the masterpiece growing from his chin. Local BMX Legend Sean Dunn (pictured right) won the Partial Beard Competition, and Failure Bikes owner Matt Bischoff (pictured middle) competed with some of the best Natural Beards around the world. System Cycle’s very own Tessa Bischoff came through with a homemade Viking Beard and was able to place in the Most Realistic Fake Beard Competition. For more photos check out www.daytondailynews.com
All of us are “pumped” to have this little gem right here so close to home. I would have to say that this is one of the most; well maintained and all around dialed pump tracks that I have ever ridden. The dream of it all was brought to life by none other than DK’s very own Jered Raflik. ...Read More

Hey everyone; thought it would be cool to do a bit of a write up on one of our nation’s heroes and a dear friend to the DK bicycles family. A few weeks ago our good friend Chris “Skipper” Ransomer made a trip up to his home state of Ohio for the Redline Cup Finals. This proved to be a great weekend for Chris and DK Bicycles.
For a little background on Chris, he is an Equipment Operator Second Class/ Petty Officer Second Class in the United States Navy. He has served our country in many foreign lands including a year in Iraq, and numerous months in Cuba. His company also made the journey to Haiti to aid in the earthquake recovery effort. Chris has been an awesome friend to all of us and we want to let him know how much we appreciate his hard work and dedication to serving our nation.
Hey everyone here is a quick bike check from local shredder Jesse Tschudy. Be on the lookout for him on the national circuit in the 19-27 Expert.
